    • BJB Civil Hire is looking for an experienced Combo Operator to join our team working across large civil construction projects throughout the Ipswich and Logan regions.

    We're after someone who understands civil construction, takes pride in their work, and knows what's expected on site. This isn't a role for someone who simply operates machinery - it's for an operator who understands levels, drainage, trimming, safety, and how to work effectively with clients and crews.

    What's involved?

    You'll be operating a 5T excavator and large Posi Track across a variety of civil projects, including:
    • Drainage works
    • Footpaths
    • Road crossings
    • Topsoil placement
    • Trimming and finishing work
    • Load-out operations
    • General civil construction activities
    What we're looking for:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil construction
    • Experience operating Excavators and Posi Tracks
    • Strong understanding of civil site operations
    • Ability to work to levels and specifications
    • Relevant RII tickets and competencies
    • White Card
    • Reliable and punctual
    • Professional attitude on site
    • Ability to work well within a team environment
    • Understanding of client expectations and site requirements
    • Clean, responsible and safety-focused
