We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Mechanical Technicians and Auto Electricians to join our growing team in Forrestdale, WA.
We specialise in the service, repair, inspection, certification, installation and troubleshooting of truck-mounted cranes, marine cranes and lifting equipment throughout Western Australia.
About the Role
You will work on a variety of premium crane brands including:- Palfinger
- Hiab
- Tadano
- UNIC
- Fassi
- Ferrari
- Maxilift
- HMF
- Effer
- Cormach
Duties include:- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting
- Electrical and CANBUS diagnostics
- Crane servicing and maintenance
- Installation of new cranes and equipment
- 10-year inspections and major overhauls
- Breakdown support and field service work
- Safety inspections and testing
What We're Looking For
Mechanical Technicians:- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Mechanic or similar
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with hydraulic systems
- Experience with truck-mounted cranes or lifting equipment preferred
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Current driver's licence
Highly Desirable:- Experience with Palfinger, Hiab, Tadano, UNIC, Fassi, Ferrari or Maxilift cranes
- HR or HC driver's licence
- High Risk Work Licence
- Mining industry experience
- Ability to work independently in the field
Auto Electricians:- Trade qualified Auto Electrician
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with 12V, 24V and CANBUS systems
- Hydraulic crane control systems experience highly regarded
- Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current driver's licence
Highly Desirable:- Experience with Palfinger, Hiab, Tadano, UNIC, Fassi, Ferrari or Maxilift cranes
- HR or HC driver's licence
- High Risk Work Licence
- Mining industry experience
- Ability to work independently in the field
