    • Steeline is a trusted group of Australian-owned metal roofing and steel building product specialists. We locally manufacture and distribute a range of quality steel structures - from roofing and fencing to guttering, purlins and sheds.

    Steeline employ approximately 150 people and are located in Albury (HO), Bendigo, Shepparton, Wagga Wagga and Bathurst.

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced External Sales Representative to join our team in Albury.

    Previous relevant Sales experience is essential. We are also interested in speaking to candidates who have a background in the building / roofing industry and a keen interest in developing their career.

    The successful candidate will be a self starting, customer focused individual with the following key skills and attributes:
    • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
    • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
    • A go-getter with a can do attitude
    • The ability to be persuasive, cordial and a good negotiator
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills
    Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be actively supporting the sales of our complete product range to all facets of the building industry.

    You'll be responsible for:
    • Processing all Sales orders, quotes and enquiries
    • Accurately maintaining all customer records
    • Making regular phone calls and sending emails to customers
    • Identifying and visiting potential customers to generate new business
    • Assisting customers and having good product knowledge
    • Representing the company at trade fairs and other events
    • Meeting sales targets
    A company vehicle, phone and laptop will be provided. Salary offered will be parallel with experience, knowledge and performance.
