An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Automotive Accessory Fitter / 4WD Accessory Installer to join the team at Parkes Toyota.
As a leading regional Toyota dealership, we are experiencing strong demand for vehicle customisation and 4WD accessory installations. We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer outcomes.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for fitting a wide range of automotive and 4WD accessories to new and used vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of 4WD and vehicle accessories including:
- Bull bars
- Tow bars
- Electric brake controllers
- Roof racks
- Canopies
- Lift kits and suspension upgrades
- Driving lights and light bars
- UHF radios
- Snorkels
- Side steps and protection equipment
- Dual battery systems
- Other aftermarket accessories - Basic auto-electrical accessory fitment and wiring
- Pre-delivery accessory installation on new vehicles
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
- Working collaboratively with the Service and Sales Departments
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Experience with basic automotive electrical systems
- Ability to read fitting instructions and technical documentation
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Qualifications:- Trade qualification in Automotive, Mechanical, Auto Electrical, or related field
- Experience with Toyota vehicles and accessories
