About the role:
We're offering a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced Service Technician.
This role is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of access equipment and associated machinery, such as scissorlift, knuckle booms, forklifts and the like ensuring customers receive safe, reliable, and well-maintained equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing to keep equipment safe, reliable, and ready for hire
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults across a diverse fleet of access equipment
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, minimising downtime and coordinating equipment swaps where required
- Complete work orders accurately, recording labour, parts used, and job details while managing jobs through to completion
- Monitor equipment condition and identify maintenance trends to support proactive fleet management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop while supporting the wider branch team as required

About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:- Proven mechanical experience, with a trade qualification preferred
- Experience working on forklifts, access equipment, or similar machinery (highly regarded)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Automotive electrical knowledge (advantageous)
- A current manual driver's licence
- A forklift licence and/or EWP Yellow Card (desirable, but not essential)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A high level of attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with a genuine commitment to continuous learning and improvement
