Dodd and Dodd Group Pty Ltd has over 50 years experience in dedicated scrap metal recycling throughout Western Australia. We consider ourselves market leaders for safe recycling, as well as on-site specialists for extensive clean-ups and responsible salvaging. Our specialty is effective site waste management, including hazardous waste. Our clientele range from small commercial developers right up to large mining ventures.
We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Excavator Operators to join our team in Karratha, and Port Hedland, WA.
Duties will include:- Operation and maintenance of a range of various sized excavators
- Fitting of appropriate attachments including shears, magnets and various types of specialist grabs
- Safe and efficient of use of attachments using hydraulic controls
- Moving, processing and loading of various materials ( namely scrap metal ) using shears and specialist grabs
- Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and operated in a safe and efficient manner, and in accordance with OEM specifications whilst adhering to company policies including OH&S
- Work closely with other members of the team and observing their verbal and visual instructions
- Perform routine maintenance, refuelling and repair tasks on equipment, and report any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including time sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance records
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate at two years full time experience, and hold relevant certificates.
These are full time positions based in either Karratha or Port Hedland.
Remuneration packages between $80,000 - $100,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.
