  • Cooks, Chefs, Sushi Chefs and Restaurant Managers

  • Join the team at Tao Cafe or Ginga - Multiple locations

    • Tao Cafe and Ginga are currently looking for experienced Cooks and Chefs to join our team - With restaurants in Belmont, Innaloo, Mandurah, Myaree, Whitford and Mount Hawthorn serving Vietnamese, Thai and Japanese cuisine.

    You must be experienced in cooking Asian cuisine, food preparation and using a wok.

    We are also looking for experienced and creative Sushi Chefs to look after our Sushi train across our various locations. You must be experienced in rolling Sushi, cutting Sashimi and preparing Nigiri.

    It is essential that you possess the following:
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • The ability to work in a team environment
    • Creative flair and a passion for food
    • Flexible, 'can-do' attitude
    • Certificate III or Certificate IV (Commercial Cookery) and at least 2 years' experience
    • A Diploma of Hospitality and at least 2 years' experience
    If you do not hold a qualification, you must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.

    We are also looking for Restaurant Managers to join our team.

    Our ideal candidate will have some or all of the following qualities and attributes:
    • A Diploma in Hospitality and 2 years' relevant experience, or a minimum of 3 years' experience working in the industry
    • Be an Approved Unrestricted Manager
    • Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
    • Exceptional customer service
    • Be available to work flexible hours
    Only candidates with the required skills and experience will be considered.

    Remuneration packages between $78,000 - $90,000 will be offered to the successful candidates.

    We are happy to consider existing visa holders or sponsor employment for suitably experienced applicants.
