The Marketing Manager / Advertising Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing advertising and marketing strategies that support these commercial objectives.
About the Candidate
The successful applicant will be a highly organised and commercially minded marketing professional with a passion for delivering measurable business results through advertising and digital marketing.
They will possess strong analytical skills, creativity, excellent communication abilities and the confidence to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable and capable of identifying new opportunities to increase customer acquisition, engagement and revenue.
Essential Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in advertising, digital marketing or marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated advertising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience analysing campaign performance using Google Analytics or equivalent reporting tools.
- Experience managing advertising budgets and optimising campaign performance.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to interpret marketing data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and external suppliers.
Desirable:- Experience within hospitality, tourism, accommodation or food & beverage industries.
- Experience with email marketing platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Experience managing social media content calendars.
Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:- Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Plan, execute and optimise digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to maximise return on investment.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Manage marketing budgets and advertising expenditure.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns for accommodation, restaurant, bar, events and seasonal initiatives.
- Work closely with venue management to develop annual marketing plans and promotional calendars.
- Liaise with external suppliers including designers, printers, photographers and media partners.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure brand consistency across all advertising and promotional material.
- Assist in developing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
- Support event promotion through targeted advertising and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Maintain awareness of emerging marketing technologies, consumer trends and advertising best practice.
Additional Duties From time to time, the successful applicant may also be required to:- Update website content including promotions, menus, accommodation packages and event information.
- Create and schedule email marketing campaigns.
- Assist with social media planning, content creation and scheduling.
- Write promotional copy for digital and print advertising.
- Undertake other marketing-related duties as reasonably required by management
A salary of $80,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
