Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Used Car Stock Controller to join our busy multi-franchise dealership in Frankston.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous dealership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has exceptional attention to detail. Experience using Pentana is essential.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and Used Vehicle Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate management of used vehicle inventory from acquisition through to delivery.
Your key responsibilities will include:- Maintaining accurate vehicle stock records in Pentana.
- Processing vehicle purchases and trade-ins.
- Creating and maintaining vehicle stock numbers.
- Managing floorplan transactions and stock reconciliations.
- Coordinating vehicle registrations and transfers on Vic Roads.
- Processing roadworthy certificates and compliance documentation.
- Monitoring vehicle movements and ensuring timely processing.
- Liaising with wholesalers, buyers, transport companies and internal departments.
- Assisting with month-end stock reconciliations and reporting.
- Ensuring all documentation complies with dealership and manufacturer requirements.
- Costing and processing of Used Car Deals
- Provide backup to New Car Stock Controller
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:- Previous experience as a Vehicle Stock Controller or in Administration within an automotive dealership.
- Strong working knowledge of Pentana Dealer Management System highly regarded.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise competing deadlines in a busy environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Victorian vehicle registration processes will be highly regarded.
