Keegan Transport has a great opportunity for a Metal Fabricator Welder, a Truck Driver, and a Fitter to join our team in Maddington, WA.
Metal Fabricator / Welder Job Description
The successful candidate will form part of the team and be responsible for:- Perform metal repairs and general fabrication and welding.
- Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Cut, shape, assemble and weld components as directed by the workshop plan.
- Performing quality assurance checks
About Your Work Skills and Experience:- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Or, at least three years of relevant experience.
- Driver Licence
We are also looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and hold a MC/HC license
We're looking for someone who has:- A strong commitment to health and safety

- Good written and verbal communication
- Excellent health with a capacity to perform manual work
In addition, we're also seeking a Fitter to join our team.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
A remuneration package between $78,000 - $90,000 will be offered to successful applicants.
We are also looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Advisor / Officer to join our team.
Duties include:- Promote occupational health and safety within the company and develop safer and healthier ways of working
- Liaising and communication with clients, contractors and internal staff on all HSEQ matters
- Monitoring and updating systems (eg. Safety module, action register, asset registers).
- Management of the asset management control systems and ensuring procedure compliance.
- Building upon relationships with external training providers and consultants and developing preferred supplier lists
- Maintaining and updating the company's risk registers
- Monitoring and reporting on the company's performance against established KPI's on a monthly basis
- Completion of internal HSEQ system audits and ensuring corrective actions are implemented where required.
- Co-ordination of quarterly project HSEQ inspections and maintenance of the project league table incentive system.
- Ensuring the completion of all HSEQ questionnaires and documentation as part of the project tendering process
- Design and delivery of internal HSEQ training courses and workshops
- Checking of supplier/subcontractor contracts
- Accident/incident investigation and reporting
Applicants must have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role
A remuneration package of $100,000 - $130,000 will be offered to successful applicants.
