Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our Beachside Volkswagen dealership in Frankston.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and customer-focused automotive professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in supporting our service department, workshop technicians and retail customers by providing accurate parts identification, ordering and inventory management while delivering exceptional service.
To be considered for this role, you will have:- Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Interpreter
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts catalogues and electronic parts systems
- Experience working within a dealership environment (preferred)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work efficiently under pressure
- A proactive and team-focused attitude
- A current and valid Driver's Licence
Your responsibilities will include:- Identifying and interpreting parts requirements for workshop technicians and customers
- Processing parts enquiries, quotations and orders accurately
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
- Maintaining accurate inventory levels and assisting with stock control
- Ordering parts from manufacturers and suppliers
- Supporting the service department to ensure efficient workshop operations
- Assisting retail and trade customers with parts enquiries
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe parts department
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal departments
