WA Haulage Repairs is one of the leading servicing, repair, and fabrication commercial haulage companies.
We are currently looking for a trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Kewdale.
To be considered for this position, you will need to hold relevant trade qualifications and a minimum of 2 years post trade experience in the road transport repair industry.
You will also need:- Full set of comprehensive tools
- Outstanding time management skills required
- Great eye for detail, fault finding and diagnosis
- Experience with road transport industry / repairs
You will be responsible for carrying out a diverse range of mechanical repairs to all road transport equipment. This will involve:- Mobile Field Service repairs
- Hydraulic repairs and fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing Tail lift faults .
- Carrying out servicing to tail lifts and Dock levelling Equipment
- Mechanical repairs and servicing of side lifters, truck mounted cranes, skip loaders and hook lift
- General servicing of truck and trailers
- Repairs to driveline components, underbody, brakes, bearings and suspension
- Time card allocation & documentation of work completed
- Parts allocation to service reports
- Field service work
This is a full time position working Monday -Thursday 6:00am to 4:00pm + Friday 6:00am to 3:00pm.
