We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Packing Team Assistant to support our production and dispatch operations. Working closely with the Packing Team Lead, you'll help ensure our products are safely packed, correctly kitted and ready for transport, playing an important role in delivering high-quality equipment to customers on time.

About the role
Reporting to the Packing Team Lead, you'll assist with the safe packing, storage and loading of Vekta products while helping the team achieve production schedules and quality targets.
Key responsibilities:- Assist with 5S activities to maintain an organised and efficient work area
- Organise and kit components required for production and customer orders
- Safely secure products and sub-assemblies using appropriate pallets and storage methods
- Assist with loading finished goods into containers and trucks for dispatch
- Maintain accurate packing lists and documentation
- Use hand and power tools as required
- Complete company training and follow established procedures
- Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times
- Work collaboratively with the production and packing teams to meet deadlines
What we're looking for:- Current Forklift Licence
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Good computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Honest, reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience manufacturing automated machinery will be highly regarded
- Dogging Licence (desirable but not essential)
