    • Formwork Carpenter - Perth based and will work at WA mine sites
    • Fitter - Dugald Mine, North West QLD
    • Fitter - Olympic Dam, South Australia (Adelaide region)
    • Mining Engineer - Appin Mine, Menangle NSW
    We are currently seeking experienced Fitters to join our team full time in Dugald Mine, North West QLD and Olympic Dam, South Australia (Adelaide region).

    The Fitter is responsible for carrying out general mechanical work including repairs, attending breakdowns and service work in a workshop and underground environment to heavy mobile and fixed plant and equipment.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • in accordance with Redpath and Client's Management Systems, perform the works as directed, with particular emphasis on Safety, Efficiency and Quality;
    • ensure compliance with Redpath and the Client's Management Systems and the relevant statutory regulations;
    • present for work satisfying the requirements of Redpath and the Client's "fitness for work standards";
    • strict adherence to the Redpath's Philosophy, Guidelines for Success, Code of Conduct and Cardinal Rules;
    • carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to a fleet of large mobile plant;
    • fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required;
    • maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements;
    • keep a clean & tidy workshop;
    • file documents daily;
    • investigate ICAM accidents as required;
    • fill out and sign maintenance worksheets daily;
    • conduct oil sampling as required;
    • attend and contribute to pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, roster change and shift change meetings when required;
    • complete all pre start checks prior to use of equipment;
    • conduct TTTC's and THA's as required;
    • report immediately any incidents, accidents or near misses;
    • any other duties that Redpath may direct you to perform, which you are capable of performing;
    • only perform tasks you are trained in, competent in and authorised to perform the tasks.
    Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications:
    • heavy duty diesel fitter/mechanic trade qualification;
    • proven experience with underground hard rock mobile plant equipment
    • auto electrical knowledge;
    • valid manual drivers licence;
    • current CPR certificate (HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR);
    • strong fault finding & diagnostic skills;
    • strong planning and organising skills to schedule and complete tasks;
    • the ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as work unsupervised;
    • good verbal and written communication skills;
    • able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and complete assigned tasks safely;
    • a safety approach upholding Redpath's principle of Safety - First, Last and Always;
    • a drive for continuous improvement and contribute to an environment of innovation;
    • able to prioritise and schedule tasks according to changing priorities.
    We are also seeking a Formwork Carpenter to also join our team based in Perth, with travel required within WA to support our operations at mine sites.

    Applicants for these roles will also need 1+ year of experience and to hold a relevant trade qualification.

    A pay of $60-80 per hour will be offered the the successful candidates for the Fitter and Formwork Carpenter roles.

    We also require a Mining Engineer to join our team

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures, legislation, and quality standards.
    • Assist with planning, coordinating, and supervising daily and weekly shaft construction activities to achieve production targets.
    • Monitor shaft construction progress, ground support installation, and concrete lining to ensure compliance with engineering and geotechnical specifications.
    • Prepare, review, and optimise drill and blast plans, while supervising blasting activities and managing blast performance.
    • Collect, analyse, and report production, quality, and performance data, ensuring accurate project documentation and reporting.
    • Inspect shaft sinking installations and maintain quality assurance, QA/QC processes, and blasting equipment.
    • Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and project planning activities.
    • Mentor and support operational personnel, contributing to training, development, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
    • Undertake Shaft Supervisor responsibilities as required as part of ongoing development.
    Applicants for this role need to hold a relevant qualification and have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The successful applicant will be offered $150,000 - $180,000.
