We are seeking an organized and proactive Maintenance Planner to oversee our facility infrastructure and production plant equipment.

    Role Overview:

    Reporting to the Production and Operations Manager, you will develop, schedule, and monitor maintenance strategies for all manufacturing machinery, tools, and plant infrastructure. Your primary focus will be strategic planning and coordination to minimize production downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop Strategies: Create preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance planning strategies tailored to a busy manufacturing environment.
    • Schedule Maintenance: Plan and schedule routine maintenance tasks and coordinate planned downtimes to minimize interference with caravan production schedules.
    • Monitor Performance: Monitor maintenance work orders, track equipment reliability, and adjust schedules to accommodate emergency or break-in repair work.
    • Resource Coordination: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure all required parts, raw materials, and tooling supplies are available before maintenance work begins.
    • Compliance: Ensure all planned maintenance activities comply with Australian health, safety, and strict manufacturing quality control standards.
    Skills and Qualifications Required:
    • Education: An AQF Diploma or higher qualification in engineering, manufacturing asset management, or a related technical discipline.
    • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a maintenance planning or scheduling role (experience in automotive, caravan, or heavy manufacturing is highly regarded).
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) software and inventory tracking programs.
    • Communication: Exceptional organizational and communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with tradespeople, production staff, and management.
    Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation
