    We're currently looking for a qualified Used Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our team at our Moonah Trade Clearance Centre.

    We're looking for someone with extensive experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repairs and reconditioning, who takes pride in preparing quality used vehicles to the highest standards.

    To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
    • Relevant Automotive Technician / Light Vehicle Mechanic trade qualifications
    • At least 4 years' experience in vehicle reconditioning or dealership servicing
    • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
    • Experience carrying out mechanical inspections, servicing and repairs
    • The ability to complete safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet roadworthy requirements
    • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship
    • The ability to work efficiently and meet reconditioning deadlines
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills
    • A current Australian manual driver's licence
    • A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out mechanical inspections, diagnosing and repairing faults, completing servicing and maintenance, performing road tests and quality control checks, recommending additional repairs where required, maintaining accurate repair records, and contributing to a safe, clean and organised workshop.
