We are looking for two experienced people to join our team in Yangebup:- Experienced Boilermaker
- Workshop Supervisor - Experienced Team Leader

Experienced Boilermaker
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Boilermaker who can hit the ground running and take pride in producing quality structural steel fabrication.
You will be working on a range of structural steel and fabrication projects, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality and working safely as part of a team.
What we're looking for:- Trade-qualified Boilermaker / Heavy Fabrication qualification
- Ideally 5+ years' post-trade experience
- Strong structural steel and heavy fabrication experience
- Proficient in MIG/FCAW welding
- Experience with MMAW/stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret detailed fabrication and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of welding procedures, techniques and quality requirements
- Ability to work accurately with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Forklift and overhead crane experience/licences advantageous
Experience with welding processes including MMAW, FCAW, MIG and SAW will be highly regarded.
Workshop Supervisor - Experienced Team Leader
We are also looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our fabrication workshop and lead our team of tradespeople.
This role is suited to someone who has proven experience managing and leading a team, understands structural steel and fabrication, and knows how to get the best out of people while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
You will play an important role in coordinating workshop activities, managing workloads and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to the required standard.
About the role:- Lead, coordinate and support the workshop team
- Allocate daily jobs and manage workflow and priorities
- Monitor productivity, quality and job progress
- Ensure fabrication is completed accurately and to specification
- Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Provide practical guidance and support to tradespeople
- Manage workshop resources, materials and equipment
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and housekeeping
- Identify and resolve workshop issues as they arise
- Work closely with management to ensure deadlines and customer requirements are met
- Help maintain a positive, productive and respectful team culture
What we're looking for:- Trade qualification in Boilermaking / Heavy Fabrication or similar
- Proven experience supervising and managing a team in a fabrication or engineering workshop
- Strong structural steel / heavy fabrication experience
- Confident leadership and communication skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise work effectively
- Strong understanding of workshop safety and quality requirements
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Ability to hold people accountable while maintaining a positive team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
- A strong understanding of what it takes to keep a busy workshop operating efficiently
This is not a position for someone simply looking for a supervisor title. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader who understands fabrication, knows how to manage people and can take ownership of the workshop.
