  • An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Farm Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a 300-acre property near Exeter, NSW.

    Reporting directly to the owner, you'll oversee a small commercial livestock operation, cropping activities and the ongoing maintenance and presentation of the property.

    This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work and has the practical skills to keep a property and its operations running smoothly.

    The Role

    Managing approximately 100 Angus breeding cows alongside a small cropping operation, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the farm from Monday to Friday.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Managing the commercial cattle herd, including approximately 100 breeders.
    • Overseeing breeding and general livestock management.
    • Managing the property's small cropping operation.
    • Operating and maintaining farm machinery and cropping equipment.
    • Maintaining fencing, water systems and farm infrastructure.
    • Coordinating and overseeing equipment and machinery maintenance.
    • Maintaining gardens, lawns and the general presentation of the property.
    • Identifying and solving practical farm and property issues as they arise.
    • Working closely with the owner to ensure the property operates efficiently.
    About You

    We're looking for someone with solid practical farming experience who can confidently take ownership of the day-to-day operation.

    You will ideally have:
    • 2-3 years' experience working with cattle breeding.
    • Experience managing a commercial cattle herd.
    • The ability to operate cropping and general farm equipment.
    • Strong knowledge of farm machinery and machinery operation.
    • Practical problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
    • The ability to work independently and manage day-to-day priorities.
    • Pride in maintaining livestock, equipment and property to a high standard.
    • A current and valid driver's licence.
