About the Role
We're seeking skilled Plasterers to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis, delivering rendering and plastering work across commercial and industrial projects throughout Perth metro and regional WA.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Prepare wall and ceiling surfaces for plastering, including cleaning, sealing and sanding
- Mix and apply cement render, solid plaster and other plaster compounds to internal and external walls and ceilings
- Fix metal lathing, beading and other surface preparation materials
- Apply, smooth and finish plaster and render to required texture, finish and surface quality
- Install and finish plasterboard sheeting, cornices and decorative mouldings where required
- Identify and repair damaged plaster or rendered surfaces
- Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine materials and work requirements
- Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to coordinate work and meet project timelines
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean working order
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian Standards and WHS requirements
Skills and Experience Required:- At least 3 years of relevant experience in plastering and/or rendering on commercial and/or residential projects
- Ability to accurately read plans, measurements and specifications
- Physically capable of manual handling and sustained overhead/manual work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Remuneration
This is a full-time (38 hours per week) position offering an annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000, commensurate with skills and experience, plus superannuation.
