    Established in 2014, KR Surveys & KR Locates is a Western Australian-owned surveying and utility locating business based in Osborne Park.

    We are currently looking for a hard-working and reliable Vacuum Technician / Labourer to join our Utility Locating team in Osborne Park.

    This is a great opportunity for someone with a construction background and HR licence who enjoys working outdoors, getting hands-on and being part of a tight-knit team. You'll work alongside experienced utility locators, operating a vacuum excavator and assisting with a variety of projects across Perth and, occasionally, regional WA.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Operating a vacuum excavator to safely expose underground services
    • General labouring duties across a range of projects
    • Assisting Utility Locators with site work and service locating
    • Working as part of a 2-3 person team
    • Helping with site preparation, clean-up and equipment
    • Maintaining equipment and ensuring the worksite is kept safe and tidy
    • Travelling from the Osborne Park depot to project sites across Perth and occasionally regional areas
    • Following all workplace health and safety procedures
    What we're looking for

    To be considered for this role, you'll need to be reliable, practical and ready to get stuck in.

    You'll need to demonstrate:
    • HR Driver's Licence - essential
    • White Card - essential
    • Previous construction or civil industry experience
    • A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
    • A safety-first approach to your work
    • The physical fitness required for hands-on outdoor work
    • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
    Experience operating vacuum excavation equipment is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right person.
