An excellent opportunity is available to join our growing team in Hazelmere, working with a well-established business in the heavy transport industry. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to assist with the maintenance and servicing of our trailer fleet, including low loaders.
About the Role
This hands-on position involves servicing, maintaining, and supporting the upkeep of a large fleet of heavy transport trailers. You will work closely with our workshop team to ensure all equipment is kept in safe, operational condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Service and maintain heavy transport trailers and low loaders
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Identify faults and assist with repairs as required
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Support workshop staff and assist where required
Skills & Experience:- Previous experience working with heavy transport equipment (trailers/low loaders essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- HR licence (desirable but not essential)
